The laser pointer has a range of  165', and is visible in different light conditions, including bright  light. It aims quickly, making work go faster. The rating of IP-66  protects the unit against both dust and water.

The Topcon DT-205L 5" Waterproof Digital Theodolites with Laser   Pointer also has a self-leveling feature, so it will adjust both the   horizontal and vertical lines allowing for dual-axis compensation.
